Then how about Get Me Thinking? Is the standard same as Onsponge Essential or the easier OnSponge PS Skills?

DD's school uses Get Me Thinking (GMT) for the top 2 P6 classes during her PSLE year. DD is sec 1 this year.

Frankly, having guided her and working with her through GMT, my personal take is this : PSLE maths questions is nowhere near most of the questions in GMT, and I told her if a question is similar to those in GMT is really out, skip that sum and do the rest first.

Challenging practice papers / assessment books are like double-edged sword - it either boost or kill a child's confidence. Make sound adjustments accordingly.

Hi, I agree with BlueBells. GetMeThinking is more challenging than OnSponge Conquer Problem Sums, but not necessary if you are tackling PSLE. In fact, I find GMT has less interesting user-interface.

They only have classes from P3.

Is GMT tougher than Onsponge Essential? I have both but somehow I find GMT hard to follow, the reasoning a bit convulated so hesitant to use so as not to confuse kid. Essential more structured.

Besides Onsponge series, are there any tougher books meant for HA?

                Thank you sky and bluebells.

I'd be mindful of your advices when I assign my homework to child. Perhaps GetMeThinking could be for GEP students, not mainstreamers.

Is it useful to attend their OnSponge parents' workshop?

GEP & MS both use OnSponge Conquer Problem Sums & GetMeThinking. It is not that GMT is not good or way too difficult, just that I find it less user-friendly.

Some schools use different titles for different classes. Example some classes may use the Visible Thinking, other classes use the Get Me Thinking.

HIIII, I have heard from onsponge teachers that ONSPONGE Essential is much easier than the other onsponge books.
