They used to spend time tackling Maths challenging topics (pi) & visiting the Science Centre. I thought it would be interesting for children very keen in Maths & Science.

I'm not sure about the time distribution. Mrs Young (herself a Sci teacher) would guide the club to do outside-of-classroom experiments - example making flying machines.
