Hi
I am planning to put my 20mth old in Faith Montessori Hillview branch.
Anyone put your toddler in PG there before? PLs share your experience.
Or if your child is already in classes for bigger kids, pls also share. I hope to put my child there long-term and not switch around.
Thanks. -

My gal is at the Bukit Timah Branch but she is in K2. Not sure about the PG because I only sent her there in k1. But as for my experience, I think so far am quite happy. She has progressed well in all aspects, acaedemically, socially and emotionally. From what I know, the whole school is full at the moment unless you don't mind the afternoon session.Hi

Hi kaitlynangelica
May I know how long your child has been there?
Do you know if all the teachers there are indeed montessori-trained?
At first I was actually a little disappointed that the only a couple of hours of the half day CC is devoted to montessori. Then i read some mothers actually prefer this. What do you think? Is this good or not? -

My child has been there about 1.5 years already.
I prefer the fact that it is not a full montessori because when they kids go to p1, it will be very structured and they may not be able to cope. Morever, the full montessori means that all the children will be grouped together without the age segratgation. That may not be a good idea.
I dont think all the teachers are montessori trained. Only those that take the montessori session are. For sure the chinese language teacher is not trained in Montessori.
If you don't mind spending extra, there is art, speech and drama and chinese conversational lessons in the afternoon but of course you have to pay additional. -
Hi kaitlynangelica,
So there is advantage in the structured program! Well becoz my boy is only 20mths I wasn’t thinking so much about P1 integration. Juz wanted him to be developed via the montessori method. I guess I won’t be thinking too much about extra lessons for time being.
Is there anything you would advise me to watch for or check? I’m likely going to enroll my boy in the hillview branch in the next 2 weeks (yes, they have vacancy there). -

Hi there,
I understand Faith Montessori is now called the Phyllis Riccia educational group. Can any parents with children in this school share your experience and offer some feedback?
I have heard the one at Dunearn Road is good but that was a few years back… I didnt manage to find out what aspects they are good at…
I am considering between this and Chiltern House.
Thanks! -
hi cluelessmum, where is your child studying now?
