you jus need 100k to qualify for Advance status( can get 1.7%for 3 months) or 200k for Premier (1.8%)

After getting final top-up interest bonus, approx day 24 of 4th month ,can close account but pay $50 for earlier acct closure than 6 months otherwise pay $50 monthly maintenace for fall below 100k/200k charge fee

SCB has this bonus saver (launched some years ago) that comes with new attractive features. Dh opened one which the staff said better than FD.

The HSBC website states incremental ADB. It seem the account holder needs to keep increasing the balance for the 3 mths. If I interpreted correctly

THE INCREMENTAL adb is with reference to the acct adb in month prior to participation in the promo

which means first time applicant gets to enjoy the high interest for 3 months. then best to quit and close acct
becos next 3 month cycle only the increment amount gets the higher interest, the initial first 3 months average amount gets only basic interest.

Closed bonus saver account recently. After SCB changed the terms and condition. Harder to meet new criteria to earn that higher interest rate.

the current one: credit salary into this a/c will earn 1%pa for 1st 100k,
use this a/c to pay 3 bills of min value $50 via giro or internet banking will earn another 0.25%pa.
We thought these 2 conditions can be met easily.
(bills: utility, income tax, conservancy fees, mobile phone etc)
