[Bukit Panjang/Bukit Timah/Hillview] Preschools

I am thinking of sending my sons to Canossian Convent Kindergarten. It is located at Jalan Merbok… My eldest son will join K1 and my youngest one will join Pre-N. Any feedback / info from parents here with his / her child studying there? Many thanks in advance…

Halo to all kiasu parents,
I am going to move to a condo in Bukit Timah soon. Anybody can recommend me any GOOD Childcare or Kindergarten around Bukit Timah Area?? I have 2 kids aged 6yrs, 4yrs & 18mths old.
I hope to get the registration done by mid of march, so that my kids can start their lesson in April. -

allseasons,jedamum,
I just wonder whether the classroom at BPMCK is airconditioned or with open window? I am considering again among PCF, Canossian and BPMCK, which one to choose for my DS2...
i continue the BPMCK discussion here.
the classrooms are airconditioned. some people feel that the school compound is gloomy. i prefer to say that it is cosy - depends on how you look at it.
it's better if you can visit your shortlisted schools to have a feel. -
Hi Mummies,
I was going through the old messages here and realised that some of you needed reviews of The Learning Ladder (TLL) at Woodlands Road. My kids (K2 this year) have been going to TLL since they were in N1. This school is also affiliated to the Canadian International School at Bt Timah, the director of the school is the principal of CIS (I think)
I think the school and the teachers are quite committed and good. If anyone needs something specific about this school, please let me know.

Thank you so much for your reply. May I know what is the teacher:children ratio for N2?

If I remember correctly, it was 7 kids to 1 teacher. The average class size when my kids were in N1/N2 (in fact even now) is around 14-15. I don't remember a year when the class size went beyond that. They also have 1 main teacher (either the English teacher or the Mandarin teacher) and an assistant teacher.

...We visited the both centres last year and will be enrolling our daughter when she turns 2 months to the Babies Inc...
Thanks nhl! Great, balanced review. -
That's is a comfortable size
. I went there for a visit and was impressed by a child who was learning chess with a Chinese teacher. It is also heartening to know that the staff there are committed and good. Can you enlighten us more about the teachers (qualifications, experiences, or anything you think will be helpful)? Dh passes by their school on his way to work so the location allows him to send dd over. Thanks in advance.
