Raffles Institution (Year 1-4)

iFirefly:
I guess sch gave priority to Y6 parents, and rightly so since it's A level year. Y1 only allowed to book the timing of one of the 2 FT, and it's on a weekday.
Y6 PTM is this Sat, 9am to 4pm. Parents can choose to see max 4 teachers. I've booked to meet Civics Tutors and GP teacher only.
When is Y1-Y4 PTM ?
Would we get the report book on the day of PTM? -
iRabbit:
It's been a while since my time at Y14 - don't remember when PTM were there. Academic progress report only after major tests (MYCT, EOY) and usually it's on the last week of school or even later.

Academic progress report usually is available before booking of PTM so we can decide whether to go for PTM or not. However, I am not sure about this year.

Hi Snr Parents/ Boys
Can anyone give some guidance on the packing list for Student Leaders Camp? -
My boy is also going for the sl camp. He’ll deal with the packing after myct. I just see this big bag he drew out from school.

Any yr 3 parents here given the option for term 3 boarding? It used to be compulsory unless you have special reasons. Now it is voluntary opt in i believe due to limited spaces. I am wondering what if after opt in it is still over subscribed. How will the school decide?

Boarding has never been compulsory. It is always opt in. -

They wont be given a packing list this time. They have only indicated some compulsory items and the rest......take charge of your own packing.

So a little clueless.[/quote]DS still keeps his Student Leaders Camp packing list from last year. Here it is. It was for 4 days 3 nights. Please note that the list was for last year's camp so this year your son may need different items if the length of the camp or the activities are different. Enjoy the camp!
