Is this 2 years minimum cast in stone, or is it negotiable? What if my duration of being a grassroots leader is a few months short of 2 years - will MOE straightaway disallow me from phase 2B? Or is it case by case basis?

you are correct.
the email from CM should come in the middle of May and all the qualifying conditions are listed.

Even though, one might have successfully applied for the letter, the name should be auto-rejected by PA's system.

and trust me, the PA staffs handles quite a number of appeal cases..... every year.

Please help me. :imdrowning: After reading tens of pages, I'm getting confused. If I am an executive member within a Toa Payoh RC for few years, what does it allows me to when it comes to phase 2b if and when I receive the PA endorsement letter?


(1) apply to a school within the boundary of Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC?
Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC consists of 5 sub-constituencies (Bishan East-Thomson, Bishan North, Toa Payoh West-Balestier, Toa Payoh Central and Toa Payoh East-Novena). Am I eligible for any of these schools listed below based within the GRC?
E.g., TP = CHIJ, Pei Chun, Saint Andrew
E.g., Bishan = Ai Tong, Catholic High School, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian
E.g., Novena = Anglo-Chinese School Primary, St Joseph’s Institution Junior, Singapore Chinese Girls

or

(2) apply to a school within any of the three Toa Payoh sub-constituencies? E.g., only in TP = CHIJ, Pei Chun, Saint Andrew

or

(3) apple to a school within the MOE Planning Area https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/primary-one-registration/information-on-primary-schools/listing-by-planning-area that correspond to the sub-constituencies that I'm residing?

Secondly, when we apply for the PA letter, do we need to specify which specific school we applying for? Or its just a generic letter?

also, if you are an EM for the past few years, you should have received the letter from your CM, last May - getting GRL to log on to a website to register for the endorsement. During that registration, the FAQ should be clear enough.

Can someone help me? Im all so clueless and read that people are starting to volunteer and clock in PV in their preferred school. Is there no hope for me?

If you plan to go for GRL route, I'm afraid you're a bit too late. You can still try to do PV though, but you'll have to secure your PV slot this year as registration is in mid-2019.
