"The report on 175 countries saw Singapore faring well across the eight indicators: Under-five mortality rate, child stunting, out-of-school children and youth, child labour, child marriage, adolescent birth rate, population displaced by conflict, and child homicide rate."

Probably the criteria won’t reflect stress. I suppose it is time to count our blessings.

            don’t trust report.

read what parents at ksp write about, this then is reality about the education scene in Sg

            an example

From as young as 3 or 4 years old, parents do not hesitate to spend $, start sending their previous diamond, for a specific Sports training/ music training / chess training / all kinds of other training, in an attempt to groom their precious diamond to DSA into Top IP Secondary schools before psle exam, via DSA Sports / performing Arts category.

            This is reality, in Sg.

If you know the Maslow Hierarchy of Needs, this would probably cover the first 2 levels. Let me try to attach a picture for you!!! Haha but when we see those articles about how we're a happy country... can't help but roll eyes a little!

All equally good or equally bad. You choose lor.

In China the University entrance exams can drive students and parents crazy. In Japan or South Korea, the student suicide rate is also pretty high. All East Asian countries are hyper-competitive.

Or can migrate to US, but if one “ah :siao:” chiong into a school and fire his machine gun at the students, all the kindergarten kids go to heaven.
