How about asking your ofc to invest in some air purifiers like Novita .Maybe they can workout a reasonable quote with old models or atleast convince ofc to get some second hand purifiers available .

What do purifiers do? Can they remove CO2? Or are they just filters? We already have 1 purifier bought during the haze period, but I'm not sure what it does (I wasn't the one who purchased it). -

HEPA air purifiers remove 99.XX* of many kinds of pollutants (you can check the list of pollutants a particular model removes in its manual/ packaging). Do have a look at Novita or Philips websites.
Apart from a color indicator for real-time air quality, some newer models also come with numerical display on the PM2.5 level.
I doubt that air purifiers remove CO2. You can consider getting some indoor plants to improve the air quality? -
there are CO2 monitoring devices but I am not familiar with them to comment nor recommend. Googled and saw some selling on local e-commerce sites

A typical indoor air quality (IAQ) survey includes measuring: air temperature, relative humidity, CO, CO2, air movement, formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds, PM2.5, bacterial count.
My co. has engaged Setsco Testing Services and Amlab Services before. Don’t remember the pricing though.
All the best!
