The dragon babies have made many schools severely overplaced this year from 2B or 2C. MOE shall prepare flexiable policies for such big change earlier. Have appealed to MOE to open more school positions, at least for citizens or PR nearby.
I doubt MOE will listen. Did u see the long list of schools I posted which still have vacancies?? There are a whopping 83 schools all over the island which need students to fill them. Otherwise they will have to shut down. MOE has to direct some of the demand over to these schools or our taxpayer money is wasted on sustaining these schools. -

MOE respond would be there are sufficient places for SC and maybe even PRs. Its the parents that are going for the “hot” schools that make it seems not enough vacancies.
If you add up all the vacant seats that are left in 2CS... and u will see that there is about 6,600 vacant seats. -
Parents who were successful in 2C congratulations!!! Definitely a huge sigh of relief and a burden off your shoulders.
Parents who are unsuccessful, the last thing you shld be doing is be in despair and feel bad. Plan for your next school in 2CS.
You should be looking at schools within 1 km and avoid balloting at all costs. Dont think you would want to have many sleepless nights again… and more heartache if you are unsuccessful in 2CS. -

For Phase 2C Supp : no more balloting
Hi, I'm new in this thread but very keen to find out more about pri schs in Sengkang for my twins niece n nephew who are registering for P1 this year. We are very out of touch with this process hence lost! They have failed in their phase 2C balloting and now their nxt choice - Fern Green Pri is left with 60 seats. Do they have a good chance? Any advice is much appreciated!
Avoid balloting
On the last day of 2C Supp -
amongst the 3 schools u had named (above), around 3 pm, just enrol your child into that school, where you do not need to ballot anymore. -
Can MOE share us the unsuccessful name lists?

these 6,600 vacant seats, left : foreigners in Phase 3 will be keen, to grab. But, before Moe open up Phase 3, perhaps Moe may change the number of seats left.remex:

u mean the names of unsuccessful children been balloted out, per school , under Phase 2C ? This list of names of children, are confidential. Moe cannot disclose. -

If someone kept the list of no. of vacanices vs no. of applicants for phase 2C, you would be able to deduce how many applicants are unsuccessful. Then comparing them to the available vacancies in 2CS, you can then have an idea whether 2CS will be competitve or not.SZR:

Got balloted out.
Hands were cold and holding back my tears.
But still managed to tell DC cheerfully "time to find another school". -

Actually, I want to know the criteria of balloting, Is it really randomly?SZR:
