      Yr dd is progress very fast within 2 years already in grade 7.till now ds everyday still practice open string,it's a must according to his teacher.the bow must be straight , shoulder relax.........not even start vibrato.
      Grade 7 is scales only. I think exam pieces still at grade 5 or 6
      Her teacher is not very demanding, so allow to progress faster

          Yes, attempted grade 5 this year. Passed with merit. Her cello teacher only touch on practical so need to engage separate teacher for theory.

          By the way, there's no need for your ds to sit for grade 3 exam.

          Both my kids go direct to grade 5 exam. Save some exam fees 😉

            according to his cello teacher,will take grade 5 n grade 8 only.hopefully by next year can take grade 5.
