I thought my child how to write Hiragana and Katana through repetition and muscle memory. I find it really effective because it is ingrained in their locomotive system.

I have enrolled myself at Bunka language centre for Japanese lessons, found their way of teaching grammar very effective, and the teacher will always engage students in conversations using content taught in the previous week to reinforce concepts. Perhaps you can consider enrolling together with your child for the lessons, can be good bonding sessions with your child as well.

I saw a lot of colleagues whom sent their kids to lanaguage courses and the end result is he kids forgot all and mostly of what had been taught ...due to no practice ....the mind needs the practice to cement the art of the language

                Cheers

Hello! Does anyone have tried to enroll in a Japanese Language Learning school? Will they conduct assessment to check on which level you will be suited in learning Nihonggo?

                  Hi CarolW,

It doesnt work that way. I have enrolled into other language school. Based on my experience, the school will not conduct any assessment to access which level. You may want to register your kid from the begainner. When your kid reach a certain level the sensei will ask if any of the students is interested in taking part in JLPT exam or you can check with the school or the sensei.

You can go to udemy.com to watch the lesson online (JLPT5) not sure if you are able to use skillfuture credit. Back then when i signed up there was no skillfuture credit. All courses are in USD.

You may drop me a personal message. I try to provide as much info as much as possible.

Has anyone here tried to enroll at Tomo Japanese? My brother is planning to learn Nihongo because he will be assigned to Hokkaido next year. He just wanted to learn the basics so that it would not be a problem for him to communicate. Any feedback about this center?

I send my kid for a basic Japanese class through Glyph. At first, I was just letting my girl try out since its very affordable. Good teacher too. Now she enjoys going to the classes a lot. Though I will probably need to find another class with higher grades in time since the centre does not have advanced classes yet.
