Provided there is some left over for 2A2.
Not only that. Its surprising low! good news for 2B!
zac's mum\" post_id=\"1918572\" time=\"1562674793\" user_id=\"53606:
No balloting for any school under 2A1. St Nicks was a surprise! So few daughters born to alumni?? Catholic High as expected, close but no balloting required.

The number of applicants for 2a1 is out now

Tks Zac’s mum for reply.
Can’t seem to find the stats for those who applied for 2A(2) and balloting by distance.
Seems like usually 20+ people will apply.
The only year that had balloting for 2a2 was in 2015. For applicants >2km. I don’t know the exact number but you can calculate from the percentage. -
Hihi can I assume that normally old boys/girls would have registered today n phase 2a2 should be minimal?..

I hope so.

But seems like popular schools will still have quite a bit of parents applying. -

It really depends on which school. Some school don’t even have an alumni association. So the old boys/girls have to register in 2A2...

7 places seems too little.
Usually 20+ will apply for 2A2.
Fingers crossed then. -

\\If you failed at APS P2C, and you still want to stay within bukit merah, you might be left with Gan Eng Seng, Cantonment and Blangah rise. If out of bukit merah, like Lexy said, SMPS might be an option.
within 2C, RMPS and RVPS are poor 2nd choice, both has poorer chance or no chance. CHIJ Kellock wise, maybe safe for all SC this year, need more confirmation as need the 2B folks to fill in the numbers first. SMPS look a good choice for alternative as well in 2C.lot286\" post_id=\"1918362\" time=\"1562601811\" user_id=\"136716:
Well I live with 1km of aps and that looks like my best chance. RMPS will be 2nd choice but that will be <2km. Chij kellock and river valley both are > 2km. Am SC. Looks like my best bet is still with aps. Amy advice? Kinda hard to come up with a backup plan if I fail at the aps ballot considering all the other school choices have no phase 2C supplemental vacancies historically... thoughts?
APS ratio maybe around 1.3 applicant : 1 slot.
You are left with little choice after 2C.
