This year is very tough... As a kiasu parent, I cannot totally reveal the current numbers. Just be mentally prepared for 2Cs if > 2km. Some 1-2km applicants are also on the ground, contemplating.

for >2km folks, the range for balloting is usually 1.5 to 2+ times per applicants.

Thanks tiggerpooh. I also called this morning and they confirmed the bulk 90%+ of the applicants are all SC <1km.

The problem is HWS is that its intake is small (210 only) and it is surrounded by so many mature & dense housing estates within 1km (from balastier-whampoa to boon keng). I am like 500m from the school on the balastier side and yet my best chance was alumni school on the east side.

They won’t reveal the numbers. Just said PR<1km is ballotting and still have some SCs waiting to register depending on their chance elsewhere. So looking risky. Anyone else have details pls post. Good luck!
