Hi
We are left with the following options for 2CS and all 3 schools are in the 1-2 km range.
1. Sembawang Primary - 16
2. Wellington Primary - 39
3. Woodlands Ring Primary - 34
Accessibility wise, all 3 schools are almost the same. Which of these schools has a good holistic approach, as well as a healthy academic environment? Which one should we go for? Thanks. -

LaraC, i guess you are refering to Fern Green/Anchor Green. If that's the case, there will be lots of spillover from Nan Chiau, so i suggest you don't try Fern Green. Even Anchor Green might be overwhelming. Probably monitor Anchor Green/Fernvale/Seng Kang.
Guess I better just go for anchor green since I'm within 1km. Ferngreen seems too risky to take.. haiz..
If there are Eg. 8 seats left and you still want to try, then u have to go down and monitor on the last day, how many other applicants are there <1km? If there are exactly 8 applicants <1km going for 8 seats, then of course there is no balloting and all of u go in fine. But if suddenly one more appears before closing time, then you will be subject to balloting. Decide if u want to take the risk.zac's mum\" post_id=\"1927367\" time=\"1565226346\" user_id=\"53606:
Can I just check for school with less than 10 seats left and I'm within 1km have a higher risk in balloting and cant get in? Or should I just go ahead with 80+ seats available within 1km?
If u have another school with 80+ seats and also <1km, of course it seems safer. Just double check that there are not 80+++ applicants for that school lor. -

I think given that there are only 7 seats, balloting within 1km is almost a guaranteed.

Hi experts, can you withdraw the seat secured in 2c and go for another school in 2cs? Admission not secured on priority.
Thanks -

Frankly speaking, in Phase 2CS, those are not exactly the questions that you should be concerned about. At this point, it's probably better to just drink the kool-aid and believe in 'every school, a good school'.

Go for the one that's guaranteed (or more or less guaranteed) you a place. You risk SC < 1km pushing you out, or pushing you into a ballot situation for Sembawang, while the other 2 are probably safe. I would keep an eye on Wellington and Woodlands Ring and go for them if the coast is clear. -

Thank you, for your opinion. That's true, at this stage, it's more about survival than choice. š

Just that as a worried parent, if I have a choice, I would like to make an informed decision within the limitations.
I would be glad if some of the experts/parents could let me know reviews of any of these 3 schools.
1. Sembawang Primary
2. Wellington Primary
3. Woodlands Ring Primary -
