2C vacancies 20, applicants 76. Distance not sure. Most probably more than 90% <1km if not all.

Hi all, am wondering if there are any parents who live in the Newton / Novena area? We’re thinking of applying for Rosyth, but have been told by their contracted school bus company that they don’t cover our area. What alternatives have other parents tried? Is there an active network of parents in the area who carpool / taxi-pool?

Wouldn’t you want to consider schools near your place? There’s a lot of good schools around. It’s quite far to travel to Serangoon North

Wouldn’t you want to consider schools near your place? There’s a lot of good schools around. It’s quite far to travel to Serangoon North

Rosyth at phase 2A is guaranteed. The popular Newton/Novena schools require balloting in 2C. Not worth the gamble.

Yeah... sleep is v important. Google maps says it’s only 15min from my place via CTE. Wonder if there might be taxi / grab Drivers willing to do this regular route?
But how does it work for the pick up? Without anyone there to guide my kid, I’m wondering if a 6-7yo will know how to get onto the correct car / taxi?
Also worried about the traffic... isn’t it a bit dangerous for a young child to walk around by himself trying to find the car?
