Should be not allowed.
Hi! May I check if NUShigh allows students to take O or A lvl subjects as a private candidate ? Thank you.
Extracted from SEAB website:
\"School candidates who are enrolled in Government/ Government-Aided/ Independent/
Specialised schools must not register as private candidates. If you are registered as a school
candidate, your registration as a private candidate will be invalidated and any examinations fees you
have paid will be forfeited.\" -

According to my boys, Teacher passes name list around during class and they decide whether do they want to opt out or not.

Hi:
Does anyone know how to get the booklist for 2020? When will the bookshop be open? -
I Guess it could be Dec 23, the day we are supposed to report to the secondary school. But read somewhere that the school relied on notes mainly and not much books are required. Maybe wait for others to reply.

Yes, most probably only chinese text books/workbooks and a English story book. And some recommended textbooks which are not compulsory. Others are all printed notes/worksheets from school.

DS WL was converted. Glad to join the Nus high family next yr
