[Bukit Merah] Primary Schools
-
I called the school. They said the letter should be sent in few weeks time.
-
The folder to clock in your hours after the PV was quiet thick too.
-
Normally the school would mail out the PV letter like 1 week before the Phase 2B registration If not you can always get the PV letter from the school admin & then proceed with the Phase 2B registration on the same day.
For those who had PV for RMPS, it is best to ask how many PV letter are being given out. If really the case of being 60 PV’s & with estimate like 5 Grassroot would be joining the Phase 2B , very likely that would be balloting. Last year RMPS have 240 places, after Phase 1, 2A(1), it left only 120.
Therefore 60 would be in Phase 2B & 60 would be in Phase 2C.
So there maybe a balloting situation if 60PV’s + GR application. Hopefully RMPS don’t reduce by 1 class size to 210. -

Have been following the progress of their construction. Wonder whether they can make it in time? :? -

I have a vantage view cos my kid's icl class is next block. Very very fast the progress. At this speed, nothing is impossible. That's the one opposite The Pinnacle.

Guess the contractor should be able to complete the project on time if not they would be have to pay of Liquidated Damages (LD) like $5000-$10000 per day depends on the tender contract document. The school maybe specially cater to Pinaccle Duxtons HDB residents.

Yes, but I wonder how many in The Pinnacle will choose the school. :scratchhead: -
Generally new school the demand would not be great. I guess they would target RMPS,ZDPS, CHIJ (Kellock) & RVPS. They are in the 1-2Km range.

I agree with titank. If there were a new school in my neighbourhood, I would be very sceptical about sending my kid there. Because we have no idea of the culture, social development or the academic performance of the school.
