Do you have 词语手册? If you do,
Step 1: Go to 课文字词索引 at the front of the booklet (directly after contents page). Run through all the 词语 by testing yourself what's the meaning of each word (along the way you can also do 词语搭配/造句 verbally).

Step 2: For the 词语 that you didn't understand (be it the relevant meaning or usage), circle them.

Step 3: List those 词语 out and make a revision-targeted 词语表 with these fields:

Hi, I hope I’m posting this in the right place. May I know if there is Chinese tuition that caters to IP school like NYGH? Cos I find the pace, standard and scope quite different from O level program. IP program varies from school to school so wondering if anyone knows a place where the tuition centre groups the students by school. I’m not familiar with the secondary school tuition scene so any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure if this is helpful but I hv heard of nygh girls going for chinese tuition at one of the centres along railway mall. Maybe you can Google and enquire more.

Hello, on Friday, I went shopping for assessment books for my DD to keep her busy instead of staring at the screen for hours 😝

However, I just realised today that I had bought the Chinese handbook for Secondary 2 instead of Secondary 1, so now we can't have a refund for the book.
Can anyone PM me the words in Secondary 1 syllabus (Higher Chinese) please?

u want to check first whether there is any change in Chinese syllabus for next year Chinese.

If Yes,
then this year (2020) HCL Sec 1 would be different from your next year (2021) Sec 1 HCL syllabus

And also,
the Sec 2 HCL "shou ce" which you have purchased wrongly may not be of use anymore.

Clarify this,
with Popular bookshop selling Chinese textbook department section, the Officer in charge, because they are often in touch with book printing Publishers, they will know. The Publishers will need to call back this current year (2020) old stock Chinese textbooks from all Popular branches, getting ready to print and sell the newly 2021 revised, updated changed in MOE Chinese syllabus textbooks.

If they confirmed that Yes, Chinese syllabus change wef next year,
then
do not lose your receipt.

Instead,
use your receipt to exchange for some other item, maybe u may need to top up for the new item exchanged.

You can do an exchange with the receipt within a week from your purchase.Hope this helps.
