Hello,
I have a question on Sec1 submit.
I've read below MOE link.
https://www.moe.gov.sg/microsites/psle-fsbb/posting-to-secondary-school/faqs.html
I can see comment below.
Students are first ranked by academic merit (T-score Aggregate).
The first student to be considered has the highest T-score Aggregate and will automatically be posted to the school that is their first choice.
The next student is then considered and school places vacancies in secondary schools are filled up one by one.
Does it mean below case?
E.g. My child is 1500th ranked student
After posting the 1499th student to a school considering 1st to 6th choice,
then the computer will look at my child(1500)'s 1st choice whether school still has vacancy?
and check 2nd choice ...until 6th choice?
After that the computer will look at 1501th Student posting? -
Hi,
I have a question. Secondary schools with affiliation to primary sch allocates only 20% of its vacancies to non-affiliation students. With a score of 260, what are the chances of entering Catholic High O levels track ? ( my child isn’t interested in IP at all)
Tks -

Zero chance. Majority of CHS non-affiliated students are scoring 261 and above.

Parents are genuinely seeking advice here especially today is 3 days away from closing of S1 submission so maybe it would be more useful to provide everyone accurate information.
Thank you. -

really?? in the 'choosing your secondary schools' book, it says the aggregate range of students in 2019 who weren't affiliated to chs and admitted there was 249-259 for o lvl track. and it's o level track so why would it go past 260?? if you meant ip then yes. maybe. but the question was about chs o levels. i don't think the cop for non affiliated is that high,,
