Thanks for the reply Sob7… I might be busy with the festive by posting day. 22nd is so close to Christmas! Cannot imagine 400 kids trying to get their stuff within that week. I feel since we already know our child is heading there… can start to prep… avoid the mad rush after the 22nd.

just share recent experience
My DD hurt her foot in the sport last month. but on the next week, there would be a outing with friends to theme park. Her friends delay the outing two weeks later to wait her full recovery, so all the friend can go together to have fun. My DD is very happy to have so considerate friends in class and she can join in the outing. In these two week, she always says what they will do and what they expect in this outing.
Yes. the life in RGS is not easy. you need handle so much subjects. If you want to join in CCA, competitions, etc. you need devote more time and personal life. I think peer supporting is important as family support and school support. you may meet your life-long friends in the secondary school. -

There were some changes this year, twice a week wed and fri as per term 1 letter from principalbbhippo\" post_id=\"2007210\" time=\"1607403251\" user_id=\"42642:
I saw posting by Cbk that girls have been allowed to wear t-shirt and culottes every day except Tuesday. Have they now reverse to only allowing culottes once a week instead of most of the days?
Haven't seen any notification on on culottes everyday

Thank you so much for the above replies.
May I know if they need to bring laptop to school everyday? Or most of the days? -

Sorry to hijack the post, mommyNg, but off-hand, have you heard of whether H2 CH must be offered with H2 MA? Or the Y5 student can select H1 MA instead. Many thanks in advance!

According to NUS subject prerequisites, it seems like only for Chemical Engineering that you have to pass H2 Chem AND H2 Math. Some other faculty require H2 Math and either H2 Chem/Physics, etc. So if the child does not want to consider Chem E at all, then he/she can do H1 MA and H2 Chem? Not sure if NTU and other AU have similar requirements? -
