Didn’t know that it is now compulsory to have iPad for new Sec.1 girls.


According to my girl - it is quite troublesome to use iPad because most of the time you need to type.
I think it make sense that your girl has a keyboard for the iPad, like one from logicTech, else I can’t imagine how they use it to submit their work.

Well, since the school has already make it compulsory, then you have to go with iPad.

So those has their own iPad just make sure they get a keyboard for them. So the iPad is just like a mini MacBook. 😀

Anyway I believe there will be another group of parents will question - why must use iPad? Can my kid use windows laptop 😂

Can anyone pls share their experiences / thoughts on SAP (Special Art Programme) in RGS. Is there any auditions for this, any additional fees.
For Year1, how many CCAs do they need to take up (min n max). What are the core and merit CCAs.

From previous year’s experience, there is a SAP briefing and indication of interest on Orientation Day. There is a selection test in the first week of school when the girls will be go through an interview and art test. There is no additional fees.

CCA - normally 1, and they have to go through selection/audition and then select up to 6 CCAs, and list by order of preference. Then they will be issued a “CO” or “WL”, much like DSA in my opinion. Those not successful in first round, will get to select again from those CCAs with vacancies in round 2.

P/S: I have uniforms to let go as my girl is now a prefect with different uniforms. Please pm if interested.
