Small correction: applying for MGS(IP) leading to IB at ACS(I); must always remember it's IP-leading-to-something since IP (Integrated Programme) really means a 4-year course, then no O-levels, then some pre-U qualification for the next 2 years... total 6 years.
So, if your daughter is applying for MGS (IB), 100 % seats are there available awaiting her, as long as she is able to meet the IB required prevailing mark-to-market IB cut off point, she can join IB (MGS) -

It's best worded as: IP (IB). [Had seen this format in some formal/official document in the past].

Yes, that's how we abbreviated it. But for informational purposes, it's clearer to tell people that it is an IP that leads to either the IB or the A-levels. In the MGS case, indeed it is IP(IB) for short.
It's best worded as: IP (IB). [Had seen this format in some formal/official document in the past]. -
Dear Parents,
To understand how the 2020 PSLE cohort performed and therefore have a better perspective of how the COPs of different secondary schools are likely to move (ie. increase or decrease), can parents of this year's cohort kindly help to post the highest T-score (please EXCLUDE the HCL bonus points) in their child's respective primary school by clicking on the below link?
https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/t-scores/
Currently, the table only reflects the t-score information of < 20 schools which makes it difficult for any meaningful analysis. Hence, would like to appeal for more parents to step forward and share the highest t-score data in their child's primary school by clicking on the above link.
Many thanks in advance!
:thankyou:

Hi
My daughter just got into Mgs sec 1 this year. May I ask if there are parent chat groups for each class? Also does anyone know where can we buy the skorts? Thanks -
Hi
May I know the cohort size for IP (IB) year one? Noted 50% will be for DSA. -

Integrated Programme: 4 classes (about 120 students)
Hi

Many IP schools admit 30% to 35% of IP intake via DSA (used to be 50% a few years ago). Not sure whether it is still 50% for MGS.
All the best to your gal :rahrah: -
Hi parents, may I know how many students from MGS primary manage to go to O-level? Thank you.

With the new AL17 COP, I reckon 80% of available places will be taken up by MSG primary students.
