Basically it is a waiting list. Some of the first 280 offer holders may give up their offers due to their preference for LKC or overseas uni.

definitely. One previous year parent said most RP90 student will get in unless they dont spoil the FSA/?SJT too badly.
Do they still look at RP after shortlisted for interview? Thought admission is decided based on how well one performs during the FSA & SJT?

This is how every one said. But FSA/SJT looks no tough. Face to face interview they talk about NS for 25 mins. Not sure how they going to decide 😢

Did he apply to any other uni?

No. We thought to try NUS this year and other uni in upcoming years since he serving NS currently

How to prepare for NUS medicine and dentistry interview? What are being tested? Thanks.

do the medicine faculty know the dentistry is interviewing? so will the decison of the 2 faculties affect who they accept? will they say the candidate has a chance with dentistry, they will not offer medicine?

I have the same doubt , when a student apply for both medicines, universities get notified ? NUS knows that the student attending NTU interview also ?

That explains why some students may receive various offers from the same Uni but different faculties or offers from other Uni all at the same time.

Hence some students could be spoilt for choice deciding which offer to accept šŸ˜„

Really? I had thought every local uni only give one offer to each applicant.

                      Hmm .. a friend's son received 2 offers from NTU in 2019.

Pls correct me if I am wrong.

I am sorry, my mistake , he was offered a double degree course hence my misunderstanding that he had 2 offers then. My apologies for the wrong info.

However, getting offer from different Unis at the same time is definitely true šŸ˜‰ spoilt for choice for some is still possible 😁
