I see... So it is crucial to take note of the dates for BMAT for NTU. Are there other dates to take it, instead of right before the A levels?

BMAT conduct yearly once. Just before A/L

NUS and NTU have different teaching styles. From what I understand, NTU teaches one to have independent learning skills… NUS more spoon feeding. NTU’s style cultivate learners for the future! Having been in NUS MED, given a choice again I would strongly consider NTU

Hi, does anyone applied for the Duke NUS medical pathway as well? Any idea when the outcome will be known?

The grass seems greener on the other side now? But different people do have different learning/studying styles. One just has to try one's best to make an informed choice. Our choices may not always turn out for the best but we have to take whatever opportunities come along and adapt accordingly. It is already a great privilege to have both offers on hand.

I think NTU's approach is more modern and innovative. Many JCs are adopting the same style... :salute:

May I ask why NUS is preferred over NTU?
My DS wanted NUS because of reputation and study methods which is different from NTU
I see.. so NUS has a better reputation amongst the prospective medical students? Wondering if anyone did a comparison between the two.. also I’m quite surprised that the study methods are different?
Nus has perceived better reputation as it is the older school. But people on the ground now says NTU churn out better drs

My DS got into NTU, NUS is in waiting list. DS want NUS, NTU need to accept by 24th May 2021, if my DS get into NUS, can we still reject the NTU after accepting, what will be the best way, any advise.
You need to select and accept one offer by 24 May. Waitlist for NUS will start to offer after 24 May or after nus receive rejection from student. WL may not get offer, it is subject to availability. After you receive offer from NUS (converted from WL) and decide to switch over from NTU to NUS, just follow NUS guideline, it is easy.
