Over the past 2 years, she had truly enjoy her learning journey in YLL; the friends she met and made...still making and enjoying. Pre-covid, there are so many opportunity of local & overseas programs; sadly some plans were aborted since last year due to covid.

Forget about some hearsay that med school = not enough sleep or no social life.
I think her time in med school is far more interesting as compared to her JC time...

BTW, she did not opt to stay in hostel, which we are glad, very happening place even for med students.
Due to this fact, she best friends are also not staying in hostel...friends are very important factors, this I believed.
Dear Harrod

Interesting views, but they are still views like opinion pieces in news papers. How can anybody know the difference if they have only experienced one system, may I ask? All said, whatever suits the child's learning needs. If world is moving to more empowering modes of learning... perhaps it is time to catch up.... wow... are we talking about cryptocurrency here? hahah :imsorry:

Oh yeah I remember you like to wear mask...

NUS and NTU have different teaching styles. From what I understand, NTU teaches one to have independent learning skills… NUS more spoon feeding. NTU’s style cultivate learners for the future! Having been in NUS MED, given a choice again I would strongly consider NTU
I think NTU's approach is more modern and innovative. Many JCs are adopting the same style... :salute:

Wondering if any rejection has been sent out/ reflected in the portal, assuming that medicine was the only choice?

we applied one choice only. still showing \"Processing\"

Best of luck.... can always apply LKC next year or go overseas eh? 😄

Congrats! but pple from NUS dun work on sunday :rahrah:

Their staffs do not have to be at work to send out the notifications. They can prep the list and set it up as a batch job to help send out the notifications on a stipulated date and time 😄
Yeah ... even emails can be timed, so the benefit is to send on a sunday u mean? 😄

Hi! I am parent of my son of last year's 2020 Kiasuparents Medicine. As parent it was an exciting and nail biting time at this stage anticipating the final outcome of the finalization of results.

To all kids and parents here, all roads lead to Rome and it could only come true if you go all out to do your best regardless of any outcome.

Wishes everyone the very bless outcome!
Thank you Desmond for your sharing. I wish your son all the best.
