That's what I heard too.....50% got B. Since pw is marked by internal assessors, why would the sch want to mark the students down given that most schools 80% get A.
Heard EJC PW this year is abt 50% A only. -

Can you define,
\"Which are the MOST schools 80% get A, for PW ? \" -

You can go google reddit for prior years sharing of pw distinction rate.

Oh is internal lecturer that access the students? That’s very worrying if really half the cohort gotten B 🤪 imagine the amount of hard work they have put in. Is there a “limit” to the number of As they can give out?

How is the Econ’s department doing now ? Are the students improving? Are the lecturers inexperienced in the new JC ?
Appeal?
Its an overlook by Ejc Econs Dept to miss out that segment.
No wonder students num of Distinctions dropped quite a bit even thou this cohort has a better R5 entering.
It’s kind of worrying to hear that Ejc Econs Dept miss out that segment for Econ exam preparation previously.
I hope the school does not make a similar mistake again for other subject too. -
Hi,
can i just ask like
amongst these 4 A-level H2 subjects below -
(Maths, Bio, Chemistry, Physics),
which are the subjects that Eunoia JC teachers are not so strong, in teaching? -
Hi,
I like to check with the parents/ existing EJ students for the parent-teacher meet organised usually after the MYE. I understand that this is a student led conference. What is the student usually required to do in this PTM? What is usually discussed? And lastly, can we request for the student not to join in this discussion, if the student is already aware of his own strengths, weaknesses and areas of improvements?
Thanks! -

It is an informal chat & sch will brief students on their role. They are expected to take ownership & follow up on issues raised during ptm.

Discussion ranges from study habits, revision plans & time table, scholarship/uni targeted & support required etc.. depending on priorities.
Perhaps you can drop CT a msg if you want the student to be excused? -
Ejc did poorly in securing the recent Healthcare/Merit Scholarship.
Ejc-1
The rest of IP/Top JAE JC have 3 or more recipients. -
Perhaps it’s the quality of the applicants and many other criteria, I wouldn’t necessarily state that the school did poorly in securing anything for their students.
