Anyone read this? So should the students leave lines in between during composition writing? Will the kid be penalized if he leave a line in between just in case he needs to edit his compo when checking?

His school never asked them to practice Not leaving lines during his WA/prelim..

What should we do? If leave lines, will it be penalized since its the rule to don't leave lines?

Instead of leaving lines, might be better to first do a top-level plan of what you want to write about. It's just an outline, skeleton of the story. Then you can write as planned, without leaving any lines. I used to do that, and got so used to it that it is mental now, so I can write with the outline in my head.

For situational writing, does paragraphing a must in marking scheme? Cause some schools r taught differently. Like my dau 's school, some classes said must have 3 paragraphing whereas her class 's teacher never taught the students of providing any paragraphing. My neighbor's school said must have 3 paragraphing. Just wondering whether kids would be penalised if never provide paragraphing.

Pertaining to situational writing (SW), I noticed different schools , even same school, students r taught differently.

May I know whether students r required to provide paragraphing for SW? My dau's class doesn required to do so whereas other class 's teacher taught the students to put paragraphing. Could anyone advice on that. Thanks
I have seen differences (across schools) as well. I believe either way is acceptable.

Personally, I think three paragraphs makes more sense. However, when asked, apparently the teacher said it wasn't needed so they just taught one paragraph. At the same time, the teacher OK'd writing three paragraphs as well.

Of course, the above was not from SEAB, but I feel it is probably OK guidance.
