Does anyone happen to know if the sec 1 express textbooks (from 2 years ago) can be used for the G3 textbooks next year? Got textbooks from my elder girl and wondering if can still use for my younger girl next year. Thanks in advance

Have you got the booklist? It should give titles and publication dates which you can check against the old books.

Most subjects have several textbook series approved by MOE, so you need to get the series the school uses. Also, new editions come out every few years, so a new edition may have been published in the past 2 years. -

Just check what is the edition number (or year published) from your YOUNGER daughter's latest 2024 Sec 1 booklist (say, example : your Maths textbook, etc)

Vs. (Against)
that edition number or the year published of your OLDER daughter's textbook.
If no change , still can use
OR
If they say \"just a Re-print, that's all, without making any new changes\" means still can use, because no content inside has been changed (altered).
You can bring along your OLDER daughter's textbook to any Popular bookshop branches, and
compare the pages
either page by page or randomly, against the latest edition of your YOUNGER daughter's textbook. From there, u will know whether need to buy new book, or don't waste $, no need to. -
Ah thank you both! Will do that!

Is there any good English tuition centre in Bukit Timah area?
