Received NTU invite on 14th March
I think they go by UCAT /academic scores (given the timing and scores friend have shared on their class chat) and you need to reply by a certain time on whether you can make it, then subsequently they proceed to go down the scores to fill in the interview slots.
Received NUS invite on 26th ( I think the invites are just uploaded on the portal so everyone gets the mail alert in the morning ) -

Oh wow NTU invite on 14th March, your son must have great UCAT and academic score. Could you share his stats?

I can see how much hardwork students are putting into gaining med admissions. -
Thank you for the encouragement !
I believe they were called earlier - NUSHigh had earlier application window. UCAT among friends who shared were 3100-3400 region and they all got notices ard 13-14 Mar. Also, the NS boys talk so they heard RI boys they know were also notified pretty early. Not sure if there is a science to this but I guess itβs human to try to find order or a pattern to all this.
Anyhow, itβs all back to baseline at interview so I hope all will do their best ! -

Agree, at this stage getting that interview invite is important. After that the marks and UCAT score can be discarded and focus on interview performance alone.
To all parents and students who are waiting for invite (like us who are waiting for NUS), hang in there, stay positive and continue to prepare for interviews (MMI/SJT/FSA). -
DS got invitation from NUS Med on 26 March around 3+ pm, his FSA will be on 2 April and SJT on 4 April

All the best to everyone else applying!! :rahrah: -
