Can anyone suggest where to buy dress for FAM. Any other preparations the girls need to do for this event.

      Thanks in advance.

Hi, anybody’s DD entered RGS via rhythmic gymnastics DSA route? Could you share your experience?

Also, looking to find out more about RGS RG head coach. It’s stated on Releve gym website that the founder is also head coach for Chij St Nicks RG team. However, can’t find info on where RGS RG head coach trains her girls externally.

Asking because my DD is doing RG now and might as well follow the head coach to compete for her gym and hopefully have higher chance at DSA.

        Thanks!

Every Cca in a Secondary school has a particular Cca teacher in charge, of that special (unique) Cca.

Just give RGS school a call, ask which cca Teacher is in charge of that particular Rhythmic gym. Ask to speak to this Teacher in charge. From there, find out who is the name of the Training coach, for RG.

Alternately, if u go to RGS school website or happen to have friends’ daughters currently studying inside RGS Secondary, the students all have access to a Cca listing, that lists out which school Teacher, is in charge of which Cca, for the current year (2024).

          RG : Rhythmic Gymnastics

            Hello parents,

My apologies for posting this bus service as we received feedback that many parents cannot find school bus service for their girls.

We are a licence bus transport service provider ferrying Raffles Girls’ School girls since 2017, covering Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Bukit Timah, Jurong East, Jurong West, Taman Jurong, West Coast, and Clementi.

If you are from other areas, and have a group pooling together, we try our best to help start a new route.

Do contact me by whatsapp 93555056 (Jacob).

              Hi

My DD is very interested in applying DSA through sport. Will average academic result means no chance to be selected?

This year's DSA application deadline is from 7 May to 3 June.

Academic results is definitely important, but your child's skillset in the sport is very crucial. Did she participate in any significant competition and come up as one of the top 3?

                  Hi,

She is in softball and took part in NSG. Sadly the team is not 3.

It might be difficult but there is no harm trying. In any case, the final test is the psle. Do well and she can go anywhere!

you can PM me for more details, my gal got into RGS softball DSA last year. RGS looks a lot at leadership profile (in my opinion).
