Does anyone have and idea abt the standard of AMK Pri Sch. They are using the holistic teaching system for all P1 and P2 not quite sure how they gauge the child standard without examination???

I'm also aiming for my girl to get into Anderson.

Chances are very slim cos we are btw 1-2 km.
Jin Shan or Mayflower will be within 1 km.

Just noted that from this website, they are reducing 1 class as compare to last year, I think they are getting into converting to Single session soon.

I have my child in Teck Ghee Primary School. I do not know what the official ranking is based on. From what I know, the PSLE results in Teck Ghee Primary is above national average for almost all subjects. Dont't think this is case in Anderson ... don't kow about Jing Shan ... need to call and ask. You might also want to speak to someone in Teck Ghee ... the P and VP are very approachable.

The only thing about Teck Ghee is that there will be a lot of homework ..

Hi,


I think that currently that the school is trying to do away with the mid year exam for P1 and P2 student. As i believed that most of the parents are putting their children to the enrichment or tution class. The same goes for me.

For those intend to choose anderson, most likely there would be a ballot based on the past few years record for distance betwen 1 - 2 Km.

As for the Teck ghee, based on last year record, it is fully taken up by phase 2C. My understanding the VP is previously from anderson primary school. Not quite sure is it still up-to-date.

As for Jing shan, not much of comments. Because my Parent in law living near by, yet i put my kids to another school as I hear some good and bad. It will up to the individual parents.
