This DVD teaches all the phonics sounds of the 26 letters. Both my kids learn all the phonics sounds from this DVD. I bought it more than 2 years ago, and both of them are already reading very well, but they are still asking to watch this DVD now ! I myself don't understand what attracts them to it. Teaches the vowels, and how to join letters to form 3 letter words. A good introduction to phonics techniques. But kids will require much more practice to master the techniques.
Leap Frog - Talking Words Factory 2 - Code Word Caper

Teaches the silent \"e\" and how to read more complex words.
All 3 DVDs are excellent ! For parents who don't intend to send their kids to phonics enrichment classes, these DVDs will teach the kids to have a basic understanding of phonics. -
Hi,
Any mummies can advice good PCF at Sengkang ? I actually transferred my boy from his private kindergarten to a nearby PCF due to the high school fees. But am disappoinited with the school progress. He’s currently in K1 now and in his term 1, they were taught only 123 and abc and i’m shocked that they only started to write in K1. I called up the school to check and understand from the principal that they are not teaching the kids to write at nursery. I’m now hesitating if i should transfer my boy back to a private kindergarten. -
Hi All.
Can any one give me more feedback on this childcare?
Thank you

Don't pray-pray.. Heheh..
You're fortunate tamarind, that the
centre can provide explorations to
many areas outside the core academics
to the children. Prior to this spelling list
the school/teacher must have conducted
a lesson or a story based on a special child.
Cause usually, spelling words are based on
or taken from general lessons covered with
the children in the class. If true, then i think
this is awesome. That the teacher/school takes
time to provide education for areas of special children.
I like it.
