Hi Champion.

i’ve enrolled my son to pandan calvary kindergarten this sept,for galilee, im still on waiting list.
Would like to know how much is the transport?PCK charge $120(two way)

I live in the Sunset Way area, and there are 3 pre-schools here. The Little House at Brookvale Park, Early Years Montessori near the Sunset Way park, and Playdays at Clementi Arcade (where Gracefields used to be). My 3.5 y.o ds goes to Playdays a couple of days a week. He absolutely LOVES school, and the quality of care there is really excellent, BUT its also really expensive (Julia Gabriel prices), so I only plan to do this for a couple of terms before moving him on to "real" school… probably Early Years.

Do you have any experience with Early Years Montessori in Sunset Drive? I received a newsletter from the principal and was very impress by it. I am going to sign my girl up for the N2 class. If anyone heard abt this sch before, please comment.

I've spoken to some of the parents with kids there and they all have good things to say about the school. I've also noticed that the main teachers have been with them since they first opened, which is a good sign to me. you can sit in on their classes if you want to experience it for yourself.

Thanks for your info. I’m glad the comments are positive. Teahcers are indeed very important and if the school has a high turn over for teachers, it will also affect the the child’s learning. I’ll make an appointment for a school visit.

Would like to know if they got spelling in K1 & do they hv homework?Currently,my son attended a school(nursery 2) & there's no homework for him even on school holiday.I decided to withdraw him frm the school,I feel that he's attending an art & craft classes,lots of coloring & art work.Hope to find a gd school for my son & prepare him well for primary 1.

Is there good Kindergarden in Clementi Central other than PCF? My mum stay in Clementi and like to start looking for a good kindergarden for my girl as my hb not keen to let her take school bus.

You can try Clementi Woods next to West Coast Plaza. I am sending my son there next yr for nursery one

Unfortunately my mum stay in Clementi Central and its not easier for her to take bus, also school bus is not an option for us too

Oic, think there are only PCF within walking distant then. Or you can consider touch childcare cum kindergarden at Blk 333. opposite interchange.


For me, i stay next to MRT near Botak Jones. I will sent my son to school every morning then, the school bus will send him back to my mother in law place at sunset way.

But i think 3 yrs old may be too young to take the school bus so for first few months, my mother in law may fetch him from school till he settle down.
