now a lot of childcare has incorporated MI so prob it is no longer meaningful anymore…
in fact, a lot of the CCs now incorporate in their curriculum a mix of montessori, MI and also preparation for the primary mainstream… so maybe u shld talk to the Carpe Diame which you are interested to understand more… -

Hi, does anyone has any experience with this center in Tampines Blk 355?
Thanks for sharing in advance! -
Hi to all
Any comment on Carpe Diem Kidz, thought of sending my baby boy to their infant care ? Any advise, cpmment on the school is highly appreciated.
Thanks, -
My baby girl was there for three months (she was one of the first babies enrolled upon opening and has since transferred to the toddler class at Carpe Diem Kidz). Having experienced only one other infant care centre (Learning Vision @ Work), I can only make limited comparisons.
Firstly, the good about the centre:
It’s not air-conditioned (at least most of the time), so my daughter had a lower tendencies to catch minor bugs like colds compared to LV@W (which was fully air-conditioned).
They have more toys and more activities compared to LV@W, especially for outdoors.
The menu seems to be more varied too.
Now, the not-so-good:
My daughter enjoys music a lot, and the impression I get is that the teachers don’t sing as much to her as the ones at LV@W.
There is also less communication about my daughter’s daily activities compared to LV@W. I was given more photos of my daughter’s activities when she was at LV@W. Additionally, I wasn’t informed that the centre was gradually switching my daughter over to the food at the toddler class. This led to a severe allergic reaction when they gave her food that had seafood in it.
All in all, I would say that the infant care at Carpe Diem Kidz is not too bad and my daughter enjoyed her time there, although there is room for improvement. -

Please give me your feedback on Carpe Diem CCC @ Jalan Jurong Kechil. I'm looking at K2 level for Y2011. I understand that they have enrichment program in the afternoon. Are they good? How about the quality of teachers? :?
