      bebebub:
Anyone can advise which session is P3 in PLMGS, assuming they have yet to convert to single session? Waitlisted for transfer :xedfingers:

Also, anyone with comments/advice regarding student care nearby?

      TIA
Hi Bebebub, now P1&2 is in afternoon session whereas P3-6 are in morning session. come 2012, all will be single morning session.

i know there is a student care call 'Proteach' at the nearby viod deck blks. heard quite a number of PL girls were there too. :celebrate:

Wow, so early. Hopefully the timing for when the school turn single session will be a sensible one. πŸ™

For morning session, you need to take note of the JAM at Lor Ah Soo.

This is due to Secondary school & Primary school having similar reporting times.

If I recall correctly, Secondary school starts at 7.30am while Primary starts at 7.20 (report by 7.15am). Used to be 7am when I was studying there!

Feel so sorry for those kids who live further away and has to be picked up by school bus \"in the dark\". My dd's current school is single session, start at 7.30. I wonder why can't single session schools start at 8pm. The primary school kids need their beauty sleep.

That's why it's better to choose a school that's nearby to home.

Yes there is a ProTeach just a short walk from the school. Proteach is located at Blk 123. Quite a few regular PLMGS attend it from what I hear. They have a good program to focus on student care, school work as well as tuition. They even have a holiday program for students that is a mixture of activities. Will be looking out for their plans for 2011. Anyone know any contacts there?
