Hello to all parents out there...
I am looking for a good centre which has good mathematics enrichment program for my children in upper primary.
I have heard that Tony Buzan Learning centre is good. Can anyone help by giving me some advice ? Or does anyone of you have children who are attending Maths classes at one of the Tony Buzan learning centres?
Thanks in anticipation ! -

Frankly speaking, I feel that if you are looking for science enrichment, then i will strongly recommend Tony Buzan. Science subject requires lots of memory work, and mindmapping is the key.[Moderator's note: Topics merged.]

Hi Engwhatt, so have you son attended the camp? Is it good? Can share your view and experience?Judy:
Engwhatt, so what does your wife think of TB? Is she going to enrol?
I may try out my son with the http://www.tonybuzan.edu.sg/index.php/courses/creative-writing-with-mind-maps/ during his March '08 holidays for $200. If I see results, then maybe we will go for the Power Learning Camp in June '08.

I think Tony Buzan is ok.

Like to know about TB classes too. Son is K2 now, need help in Maths and English. He cant really read and is slow in Maths. He is a hand-on person. Looking at TB wed site, it seem to be more for P2 onwards. Only 1-2 classes for P1.
Any suggestion how to help son? -
Any parents have send their kids to TB Power Learning Camp?
I am thinking of enroling my P1 son for this camp during this coming year end holiday…
Would like to hear any feedback on this camp…
Thanks! -
hi jiyou2003, my daughter was poor in english when she ws in k2, she didnt read much story books, her phoenics was poor, during the last term in k2, I signed her into I Can Read at goldhill branch, I find their method of teaching rather effective. you will need english in order to do maths and science, without english yr child cant understand maths when it comes to problem sums. U could also give him speech and drama classes to get him interested in english.
Regarding t.b power camp , i have not yet attended it cos i found out abt it when it was over, but the feedback i get from other parents is good and i will definitely sign my grl up during the november holidays*
