      tianzhu:
      Q1

      Ravi and Timothy have a total of 468 Stamps. They have the same number of stamps. How may stamps must Timothy give to Ravi so that Ravi can have 50 more stamps than Timothy?

      Another way to look at this problem.

      The total number of stamps remains the same.

      In the beginning, Ravi and Timothy have 234 stamps each.(468/2)

      At the end,Ravi has 259 stamps and Timothy has 209 stamps
      (2 units + 50 --> 468) ---You may wish to draw a model.

      Therefore, Timothy must give 25 stamps to Ravi. (234 - 209 -->25)
      Thanks Tianzhu for your kind advise. It really helps....

        Hi fridayeducation,

        It is really very kind of you to offer your service. There are so many wonderful people in KPS.com. I have a suggestion, before things get out-of-hand, and for more parents to benefit, please have the Q&A a little more organised.

        Chief Kiasu, if you are reading, can u organise it so it is easier to read and follw up? A little more structure will help a lot! 😉

                      a) what is the price for a packet of chip?
