Is it allow to registered in 2 schools? I thot this is not allow?

Sorry for the confusion. No, I will not be registering in 2 schools at the same time. You see, I may be allowed (dependent on whether I get the recommendation ltr) to register in phase 2B in AiTong through clan affiliation. As you are aware, AT is a very popular school (as it is now, it looks to be heading for balloting in phase 2B either <1km or 1-2km), so if the above scenario happens, I will definitely not be able to register in AT, thus I will fall back on my backup school which is Kuo Chuan, and being a PV there, I could also register in phase 2B. If I do get the recommendation ltr, I will not be registering on first day, but hold out till the last day and probably the last hour, the moment, it became apparent that there will be no place for me in AT, I will head down to KC.

I didn’t know KCP is such a "hot" school as well in Bishan. I think my % also not very much if under foster parents I will be under 1-2km and past history 1-2km requires balloting.


I am in a dilemma. I am trying for St nic under 2B and staying within 1km. So in case, i failed in the 2B balloting, shall I try my luck in 2C for St nic or 2C for KCP?

Both require balloting and for St nic 2C I am within 1km but require balloting. For KCP I am 1-2km also req balloting. How??? Can someone tell me what to do?

Yes…I received the clan’s recommendation to register in AiTong. However, I passed up on it because I didn’t want to take the 50% chance, I’m 1-2km from the school and there are 10 registrants vying for 5 places, 34 registrants are within 1km.

My advice is don’t try this route unless you are within 1km, actually, even within 1km, you may not get a place, simply because you may not even get a recommendation from the clan.

Quite a pity to pass up on the reccomendation letter leh…

I heard that there is a minimum tenure to the clan’s membership before the committee will offer their recommendation. How many years have you been a member of the clan? I understand that for application to Ai Tong this year, your clan membership must be at leat 4 years old…Not sure if it is true.
