      Hi

      Congrats !

There are school buses that cover Tampines. You can call the bus drivers to discuss your needs and concerns.

Thanks tankee. but i heard most of the gep kids don't go back on the dot like mainstream kids, they hv to stay back for enrichment, projects, etc.. and my girl is joining chinese orchestra, so she may not be able to take the sch bus home..

I am not sure how true is this..

Hi. Mon and Fri are CCA days (I think Chinese Orchestra is fri) while Tues, Wed, and Thurs are supplementary classes or GEP extended days. My son's school bus has a afternoon timeslot of 3.30pm which is the usual time CCA ends and you pay some extra amount for taking this afternoon journey. GEP curriculum ends at 3.30pm at first and then when Computer Enrichment program stops by term 2, 1 of the day will end shorter at 2.30pm. In this case, the kid can do homework in school between 2.30 to 3.30pm and take the school bus home at 3.30pm. You can call the school bus operators provided by Tankee and check if they offer the same since I don't stay at Tampines.

Note that there will be certain days when the kids have field trips or additional programs on adhoc basis which you may have to work out the logistics separately.

      Hope the above helps.

Glad to know your kid enjoyed himself thoroughly at TNS. 😄

Thank you so much for the information. I have called the bus operator, the pick-up time is 5.55am. He charges $4 for the return trip after CCA. I will be training my girl to take public transport home in case I am not able to fetch her after excursion trips (a bit worried though bcos she is a shy girl).

Can i check if anyone knows how long is the prize presentation on Thursday? I have to rush back to work after that so have to estimate what time it ends…

Anyone who has been to the ceremony previously and could give me a rough idea of the sequence of events to be expected would be greatly appreciated!

              Thanks much!

They will have some prog, like choir, orchestra, wushu etc...can be quite long.I remembered last year i brought my young one there, he was so impatient.

After that, prize presentation, followed by light refreshment.

                  Hope this helps.

Plan for 2-2.5 hours should be ok. I think the p6 graduation on thurs morning seems longer though, about 3 hours
