        Hi
My boy takes bus 9, the sk/pgl bus to sch. The ride starts from sk first leh, then hougang, followed by Pgl, then Pasir Ris (1 or 2 kids), then Tamp (also 1 or 2 kids) before reaching sch. Coming back is the reverse lor. You may wanna fetch your kids from sch if you can, cos the 1st day i let my boy tried, he came home almost 8pm!

          Hi Small Bell,

Do you mean this school bus will fetch students residing in Punggol and Sengkang only? I have checked with the bus operator during the orientation. They told us that the school bus will fetch students from Punggol and Sengkang, then tampines and Pasir Ris before reaching the school vice versa. The kids will only reach home ard 7.30pm-8.00pm.

          Hi Mommilicous
There are actually buses catering to Pasir Ris and Tamp kids. its just that i believe bus 9 (sk/pgl) picks up those kids staying at the extreme ends of pasir ris/ tamp along the sch route bah. My son told me the driver pick up kids ard pasir ris White Sands, then another kid around temasek poly that side... so i believe the route to sch after tpe might be along the road outside Ikea...

I left around 6pm. I was at the canteen queuing for uniforms and books...maybe we bumped into each other earlier...

                Hi constancet,

Is your boy still taking school bus now? I am still considering whether to let my boy take a one-way transport from home to school. The journey back home is just too long and tiring.

My DS is the 2nd kid to board the bus. Bus fetch him ard 11am.
The bus ride back on the 1st day, he was the 2nd last to alight, hence 8pm.
Where do you stay? Pgl or SK?

                    Hi
yup he is still taking sch bus. One way to sch. My hb or I will fetch him in the evening, cos its too tiring for him. P2 will b the same arrangement. When he goes to P3, Hb will bring him to sch in the morning, and he will take sch bus back in the afternoon....
Our headache now is, how to arrange on days when he has CCA?
Red Swas CCA start 2nd half of P2. Dunno how is the arrangement yet.....

Dicky….have u check out Tian Hsia holiday camp? They have 5 full days program this Dec. Also if you ok with the distance, Kids Amaze in Boon Lay has quite good 5 full day holiday program for much lower cost, and looks interesting too.

Frankly speaking, we looking at enrichment programmes outside the school works. Because DS is slow and was top 10 student for P1...... from bottom. So we need to revise P1 all over again, sending him go further enrichment may be counter-productive.... 😞

Just sign DS up for weekly Aikido and Roller-Blade.......

I enrolled my DS for 5 day holiday camp with tien hsia. 1st half of the day is actually an outing (eg farm, robotics ctr, archery), only the 2nd half of the day is in the tien hsia ctr. The impression i get is, they will talk abt the outing details during their time in the ctr. So not really totally academic. I let you know after my boy's session with them end. So that you can decide whether to send your boy nx holiday. 🙂
