oic, i wish you luck in your RI appeal. i am appealing to hci so if your ds goes to RI , it means that there is one vacancy and maybe my ds can get in....haha....

but actually, if i am in your position, i don't think i will worry too much since HCI is also a very good school...

Octopusmum, your DS' chance to get into HCI is pretty high. Trust me. Don't have to worry too much.

My DD is also 256 +2. CCA is dance but I don't think it was taken into consideration. Heard fm NJC only this morning at 8.45am

Seriously, I am not sure if Ds stands a chance cause I am sure there r many w scores higher than him appealing to hci…

The wait is torturous , same as the wait for the psle result itself!!!

So all defected from HCI.

My eldest will only be in P4 next year but I was actually frequenting this topic quite alot since I've friends/ nephew who sat for PSLE this year. I was trying to \"learn\" how I can prepare for my kids in few years time.

I realised that it's good to, besides academic build the child's talent/ interest in CCA. Even if they don't use it for DSA, they can potentially use it for sec school appeal after PSLE posting is out. Is that correct? :?

I gathered that a child may miss a desired school COP by few marks but if they have talents in some areas eg. band,etc... they still stand a good chance during appeal.
