      Heartee:
I know that Paya Lebar MGSS accept all affiliated pupils and the minimum express cop is 188, as required by MOE. However, for non-affiliated pupils, the cop is minimum 240 and above, excluding DSA. Heard they can only take in 1 class of S1 non-affiliated pupils so the cop is higher. The classes are arranged according to T-score so no sweat about the results' disparity. By 2013, the cop for the school for affiliated will be raised to 20 points below non-affiliated, akin to Fairfield Methodist. Classes for S1 non-affiliated will increase. Can anyone verify this?

i heard by 2013, PLMGPS would not be affiliated to the sec school and all students (fm PLMGPS and other schools) would have to 'compete' to get a place there.

Lizawa, you may like to correct Presbyterian's COP.
        It is 229, not 234.

hmmm.. just wondering ..does ACS (I) take in students from non affiliated schools with cop 245 for O level? Can anyone confirm that?

We were informed only affilated schools at COP 235 and above are admitted for O level express..all non affiliated will come in at COP 253 for IP excluding DSA..?? :?

SJI is 238. My fren's kid got in with 243 based on S1 posting.

My friend's son got 241 and he got a place into SJI. So maybe the COP is 241.

The 238 COP SJI for 2011 sec 1 is for afflilated primary schools.

See their website which states clearly that for 2011, affliliated, it remains like previous year at 238.

I am referring to non -affliliated which for 2010 intake was 241.
It has since gone up to 248 for 2011 sec 1 intake based on my friends kids parents.

My fren's kid is not from affiliated school. His score is 243 and he got in his 2nd choice SJI by S1 posting. He was rejected by his 1st choice CHS which COP is 248 this year. I'm certain SJI COP for this year for non-affiliate is not 248 (maybe higher than 238? ).

It is not very clear. Anyone from non-affiliated got into ACS(I) with a T score less than 253?
If 235 is the COP for affiliated than what does the figure 245 represent?

                      Is very confusing...

                        245 is for non-affiliated O level track. 253 is for non-affiliated IB/IP.
