Pat school as read from web highly recommended. But is full and long wait list at the moment. They just opened on 1st Dec. Fee not cheap at $1300 but they include, Speech & Drama, maths, cookery I think.

Cambridge - Their english teacher mostly Philipino so am not sure good or not. Their school fees around $1040. And should you want sign up for enrichment is another sum of money for Jap, Speech & Drama, Maths, Phonics, Chinese. Not so worth it as i think the school depend lots on outsider for teaching

Montessori - pls find my findings at my previous post. Small area and fully aircon, heard kids fall sick easier

First Skool - Open Oct, but also full, Good enviroment, things are new.

          Hi Thanks for the info.

I hv poped by to enquire Pat’s @ Tanling but Principle was not around and is scheduled to meet and view again only in Mid Jan. Currently their classes are all full. While there, I have viewed the curriculums and the area roughly. I feel aircon bit cold. But I really likes the curriculums seems like all under one roof. Their teachers all looks very plesant too.

Last evening i went my first school too, i only wanted to look at the school from outside. Yes is spacious and clean. At 6.30pm the Aunty is busy cleaning and cleaning. Only a few children left and I met the principle and roughly chat with the principle and she gave me the overview of the whole year curriculums and their teaching approach. Am quite impress with it and the teachers all looks very plesant.

As I have small kid i prefer a plesant, warm, approachable teacher. My eldest current school, the teachers are rather old and very aunty like. Yes am sure they can teach but they hardly sings or interact with kids, strictly teaching from book or the worksheet.
Hi everybody

I live at Telok Blangah Hts and am currently considering Montessori schools in the area for my soon-to-be 2 year old son. I prefer full-day programs, or at least until 3pm.

I have currently shortlisted the following schools, and would be grateful if anybody could give me any feedback or comments on them before i shortlist them for a visit -

              1) Bambini Montessori at Kim Tian

              2) [Moderator's note: Entry removed on request of service provider]

              3) MMI at Telok Blangah St 32

              4) Seedlings Montessori at Dawson

              Many thanks in advance πŸ™‚

I stay near Kim Tian (and i didnt even know there's a school here!!)

My 2 kids are with CherieHearts bukit purmei near Radin mas primary. Currently there is 7% discount for enrollment, school fee is relatively lower
Supersim, back to Sg to work 6 months ago. My kids are also with this centre for couple of months. Now, my boy in K2 is very active unlike the past when he has to stay home and do nothing with my maid. No doubt, I like the staffs at this centre too.
One thing I learned recently, the branch directors and teachers are very down to earth, they accepted my opinions, and not being too defensive too. I like the way they deal with my kid. My girl is starting at this centre next week in PG class. Hope she is doing fine. keep you guys update on her progress.

                Hi

Passed by blk 52 lengkok bahru over the weekend and realised that there is one new CC being built. Care Corner CDC will be opening a new cc sometimes in Feb/Mar once they get their MCYS permit.

The fees are $560(before subsidy)for children above 2years old while fees for infant are $1,200/-(before subsidy).

Ms Rebecca Soh from St George branch is currently handling all enquiries. Contact number is 62982543, or can send email to her at rebeccasoh@carecorner.org.sg.

I'm not sure how's the facilities/curriculum there as I hadnt visit yet. Will post more details after I'd visited πŸ™‚

Finally we are getting more choices of cheaper cc in this area!! πŸ™‚ yeah!!

My little nephew is in this centre.

He doesn't take the payable Japanese enrichment but only taking the free Japanese lessons (understand Japanese is offered there because there's a relatively large pool of Japanese kids there). He is taking the speech and drama, phonics, and the Chinese enrichments. I don't think there is any maths enrichment course there else I would have known (my brother will sign up for everything but he will ask me first). My nephew is very 'ang mo pai' and the chinese enrichment saves my brother his efforts to send him to weekend Chinese enrichment (that I will bug him to send no matter what else my nephew will be dead meat in P1) and so far I assess his characters-recognition results are almost on par with my younger son and so I think it is not too bad. His English reading is quite good too. (qualify here that my nephew is an intelligent child to begin with but his parents have no time to coach him at all at home).

I seconded my brother to enrol in this centre coz of close proximity and the large playground plus I know their curriculum. Staffing wise I am not too sure for this centre but so far no screaming from my sister-in-law yet (she is kind of short-tempered and hard to please type... ) Maybe can join in this year PTC to test them out...

Yes I quite confident in their education part ... is just that after the $1k over school fees, being KS parents we will sure want our kid to have the further enrichment classes like english and chinese. After the additional class, add up to quite substantial amount. Anyway the chinese enrichment class is pretty impressive. Does anyone can recommend the same that I can send my kid to this chinese enrichment class heard is call rybi or some thing is to prepare for them to enter P1. Anyway along here in red hill or Alexandra, this the best pre-school i have checked so far. In term of wide outdoor play area, gym class, water play, place for pinic and exploration of their greenery plantations. And to thumbs up, once they hv HFMD case, they immediately engaged the 3rd party to do cleaning service (this was what i heard last time, now am not sure)

                      Carpe Diem, not easily accessible.

Must pay extra for transportation. Leave at 5pm daily.
Yes, environment very good. Curriculums not bad too.
However feel too private, cannot spot check the school le.

                        Hi,

has anyone view MMI bukit mearh? Any comments?
I went to see the school and it seems well organized. They are expanding and would have an indoor gym soon.
