I have house pets - lizards, they eat up the ants, no need to pay them

Oh, ur pets so good :? I hv the same pets too but I think they dun like ants 👅

Our lizards more high class lor, prefer the leftover foods than live ants. Or maybe they too lazy and fat, cant chase after tiny fast moving ants

I find those ant and roach baits extremely useful to keep out most of the creepy crawlies. Current brand for ant bait is also Combat. U might see a sudden influx/ increase in ant activity - i think it's because they are attracted to the baits - but this will slow down after a while (abt 1 week?) and hopefully the ants will be destroyed.

Actually, I've also noticed that in very hot months, the ants will come out and sometimes end up in the water jugs/container. It's as if they are cooling off from the heat. But end up drowning instead.

        😉

My grandmother used to put the table legs on the bowl fill with water to prevent ants from climbing up the table and after a few days we can see lots of ants drowned inside.

I got a feeling that some ants hv learnt how to swim  Before I discovered Dettol, I washed the balcony with plain water only. Those ants did not drown. After the water level subsided, they continued their own biz :x

lizards are pest like ants… they leave unsightly droppings everywhere… my mom leave egg shells on the floor to keep them out… heard that peacock feathers do the same trick…

for ants, i use ant bait… u can get them at some DIY home fix stores… they look like mini yellow balls and the ants feed on them, bring back to nest and feed to the colony… worked for me

I dislike LIZARDS and ANTS too.. :x

I cant do anything to the lizards coz firstly, I scare of them. Secondly, nothing can kill them.. 😢 even how much I spray baygon on them still no use. So as long as they dont come and bother me. I close one eye on the dropping too.

For the ants, I use hot water to clean the table and floor wherever they crawl. It takes few days before they are gone totally. I believe its the raining season which caused the ants to crawl into our house. :stupid:

when you see your lizards crawling on the wall or ceiling, play some rock music, and when they clap their hands / feet, make sure you have plastic bags on standby to catch them ....hee hee heee
