In the past years, some members will post this info in another thread. Not sure whether there will be any this year. Check out the other forums. You wont be able to find it on this PH thread.

PSLE results were just released ytd. Sec sch registration has not started. The booklet on Sec Sch posting Guide given to this year P6 can be used as a guide for the COP.

Ah boy's school uniform, esp the long pants, have coloured streaks here and there (kena while painting banners during the preparations of school funfairs). I dun bother replacing these as the pants are not exactly cheap and there is no guarantee he wont stain them with permanent inks again. For the recent oral presentation of Project Work (exam), I reminded him to wear the most presentable looking set of school uniform for the event. Luckily there is a set of top and bottom that were stain free :rotflmao:

To ensure even greying of pure white school uniform top and bottom, I would suggest assigning pairs (top and bottom) as set 1, set 2, etc, and washing/sunning them as a pair too so that the top and bottom \"age\" together :lol:

What is the chance of 254 + 3 entering to NJC given the cut off was 256 last year? Is it risky and would it affect 2nd choice for RV that has 250 cut off

NJC is not a SAP school.
The HCL bonus points do not count in the COP of NJC.
Check the sec sch posting booklet pages on how a child is posted based on the choices made.
iirc there should be no impact if your child's first choice is NJC, but is not successful. Your child would be posted to the second choice, if there is still vacancy. Check the posting explanation outlined in the booklet.

I am seeing sawdust droppings at the base of our piano.

What options do I have?

The piano tuner I engage told me there is pest control company providing fumigation to piano to get rid of the pest causing the sawdust droppings.

Has anyone done fumigation their piano?
The piano performs alright after the fumigation?

Appreciate your advice.

I like to find out more about the subject combination selection in year 2 & JC1, and the sports CCAs.

(1) In year 2 and JC1, are the students allowed to choose any subject combinations or there are pre-determined ones? What are the subject combinations for year 2 and JC1?

(2) In year 3, how many students can take triple Science (Pure Bio + Chem + Physics)?

(3) NJC offers only Pure Science?

(4) In JC1, triple science or double maths double maths is not offered?

(5) For sports CCA, can anyone join or only those in the school team can join?
