        HI all

my son who is year 1 has to carry the super thick longman dictionary to and fro school almost every day. even though he has been allocated a locker, he tends to bring it home as he needs to use it for homework. qtn is, can he use online dictionary to do his hw instead of carrying the bulky dictionary everywhere? thks

and speaking about the locker, he waited for an hour to get his keys a few days ago. he is supposed to be dismissed at 2pm but got his keys only at 3pm. don't know why the school has to make the students wait for so long juz to get the keys...any of your kids have the same experience or this only happens in my son's class šŸ˜ž
My dd also waited until 3pm before she and another 2 classmates were told that their key was not ready yet. Wasted time

Thanks, sall. dd confirmed there was a written test but questions are all related to infocomm. Looks like they are trying to shortlist students with experience so less time will be spent on training the newbies (I guess). I think it is kind of unfair as not all primary school offer such CCA.. šŸ˜ž

As for the lockers, dd told me that some of her classmates who stayed back also did not get the keys as the ex-students did not return the keys. So probably there will schedule another day to give out all the keys.

Me too. They're not organised at all, especially during s1 posting, 1st day of school and parts of the orientation camp.

Actually, my dd was not in this cca during primary time, her only experience she had was her own playing around knowledge at home. Then she was not shortlisted for the cca she was in when in pri. Very ironic ...

i ask my gal's does she need to stay back for the locker's key?
she also ask me the same question.
their locker's numbers and combination codes are emailed to them.

We are all so desperate to get the locker key, so we can put the thick chinese and english dictionary. The sch bag is now SO heavy, with the 2 dictionaries and textbks.
