Jan last year, dd's class did 冰心散文review. I am the one who :faint: bcos dd asked me to explain but I myself can't really understand the hidden meaning of the article.
            Not easy.

I guess you can always google and you will find various reviews. It is interesting. That is why research are for...if they give topics that have straight forward answer and you already know, then what is the point?

              Hi WeiHan

Yes, I agree with you. But the article seems way too difficult for year 1 leh. There are so many words that they don't even know how to read, needless to say the meaning.

As for the poem, I do goggle for simpler explanation which make it easier to memorise.

Yes, it is a global project. Many schools in Singapore participated too.
They collect the tab for an organisation in Thailand. They will melt the tab, make it into artifical limbs and offer free for the handicap. Some make it into wheelchair. It is difficult to ask ppl to donate cash so this doctor in Thailand came out with this brilliant idea. Only the tabs can be used as it is made of different alloy from the can itself.

Those students who collected 1000 tabs will be awarded with 11 CIP hrs. Minimum CIP hours to clock each year is 6 hrs.

Naturally it became a family project. Even grandparents, parents' colleagues, relatives all started collecting the tabs.

Yes ,daisyt, it's a matter of getting used to it.

For Chinese spelling, 1 wrong word = 20 times correction.
If they don't memorize the poem well, copy the whole poem 15 times,
                        So better study hard.
