Heard from colleague the new comers cried loudly, my child withdrew a few mths ago already ....
qms:
Did you notice this? :scratchhead:Koach:
Like to check if any parent have notice that children in LSH@ Kent Vale not very happy?
-
How did u notice it? I don't think it is as high as 80-90%. The ratio might be a little bit high probably because the ratio of Chinese citizen in NUS staff is relatively high compared to other companies. And most of them are highly educated and to my observation, their kids are bilingual. (Sorry I am very sure of your concern.) But I did notice there are some from other countries like Africa, European countries, US, Korea, Japan, etc. That is a quite good explosure to children i think.

Also the very high ratio of PRC children to local which is as high as 80 to 90%. just concern about the impact.

Hi all, my son has been having bruises very often. Almost everyday, there will be bruises. I emailed in to their headquarters and they said that the teachers will keep an extra eye on my boy but he came back with a bite mark today. How often does your child gets injured? I suppose all children gets injured at times but to this extend?? I am seriously disappointed with the safety of the school.. We are thinking of changing a school as it is not really worth the amount of money if my son gets injured so often.

which school? coz the fee in LSH@KV is dirty cheap ...

did you speak to the teacher in-charge directly? if your child is getting bitten on a regular basis, you need to bring him to see a doctor too.
my girl came home with bite marks last year and i knew who did it cos my girl told me. but her teacher came to me first before i could ask her. so im just deducing that if your child do not complain to the teacher, they will not notice. -
It’s On-the-green at OCC. How much are the school fees at KV? Just curious…
The teacher called us to inform. Anyway, I just called his form teacher today and had a chat with her. She was quite surprised to hear that my son told me the child’s name. (My son’s getting more vocal nowadays…coming to 3 years).

hi mommies with LSH,
any of you heard about NTUC setting up another new cc in Pandan area? -
Hello Parents,
Need some advice if you have sent your child to either The Little Skool House @ Fidelio or The Little Skool House @ Tampines, and Star Learners @ Simei? I have visited the schools with the following comments:
1) The Little Skool House @ Fidello
-Read about the branch on their website; I prefer the preschool to be in a house than in a centre.
-the house supposed to be a more interesting place, as they have a little out door corner, but the place did not look as interesting as what I have thought.
2) The Little Skool House @ Tampines
-the place surprised me with it's cleaniness and space.
-Teachers looked quite experienced.
-Students looked quite happy.
-Overall I do like the Tampines branch better after visiting two different branches.
-math is introduce through story books.
3) Star Learners @ Simei
-the place looks quite spacious, cleaniness is alright,
-the teachers looked friendly and polite.
-Went at the wrong timing (nap time)!
So unable to see the children in action.
-the centre is using a little mixture of Montessori method for math.
All the three centers are welcoming, teachers and principle are friendly and polite.
I would like to pick one from these but is struggling which one to enroll my son to. Any kind advice is appreciated.
With many thanks.

I visited LSH in tampines when it was quite newly opened. impressed with the space and newness of it all, but subsequently heard forum reviews that the 'software' part was not so good. Think you can look around 'alternative views'.Hello Parents,

I know someone with a kid at Star Learners. They only have good things to say abt the place. Think the charges are reasonable, the place is clean.
Which one is more convenient, location-wise for you? I think that plays a big role.
