          Group X: From plants
          Group Y: From animals
          Group Z: Manmade

          My answer: Thread
However, take note that 'thread' is very vague. Thread can be silk thread, cotton thread, nylon thread, polyester thread, etc. I'm assuming it's the most common - cotton.

              Hi meimeitan

You may end up with different answer depending on the grouping.

If you use natural material instead of man-made as the group heading, then disposable cup is the odd one out. That is assuming disposable cup is made of man-made material.

Is your question from past years papers?

              Best wishes

I think the heading cannot be \"natural material\" because there will be overlap as \"from animal\" and \"from plant\" may also be classified as \"natural material\".

                  A general question here:

Where are the stomata found on the leaves of water plants? Are they still found mainly on the underside of the leaves?
                  WHY ?
                  Thank-you.

                  Cheers,
                  Belle.

                    Hi Belle2011

Stomata are openings in leaves which allow for gaseous exchange. For water plants like water lilies, stomata are found on the upper sides of leaves, where they are exposed to the surrounding air.

Please check with your school teacher if the topic on stomata in aquatic plants is covered in PSLE science syllabus.

                    Best wishes

                      Dear all,

How do money plants adapt themselves to grow upwards to get sunlight to carry out photosynthesis?
                      (a) They have woody stems
                      (b) They twine round supports
© They have tendrils to help them climb
                      (d) They have roots to help them climb.

                      Thank-you.

                      Cheers,
                      Belle

                        Hi

I am more inclined to go for option (d) ----- They have roots to help them climb.

                        Best wishes
